Emerald Lake Lodge Wedding

On April 20th, 2019 we celebrated Mr. & Mrs. Joseph at the beautiful Emerald Lake Lodge near Field B.C in the Yoho National Park. Our bride and groom chose this breathtaking venue for the stunning views, rustic aesthetic, and intimate setting. With only 50 guests in attendance, this venue was the ideal location for this cozy gathering.

Ceremony and reception were both held at Cilantro on the Lake. During ceremony the iconic mount Burgess was displayed in the background as the bride and groom said their vows. Simple, yet gorgeous garlands made by Fleurish Flower Shop lined the aisles and two floral arrangements set atop wooden pillars (made by the bride’s father) framed the couple and the officiant, Klaus Ohlhoff.

As family photos were being taken outside on the patio by photographer, Darren Roberts, Cilantro on the lake was flipped into reception. The garlands were cut and reused on the tables, and the bridesmaid bouquets were placed in vases and set on top of the head table. Vintage, brass candlestick holders with tall tapered candles joined the garland and placed on top of blue velvet runners. These dark, jewel tone colours were the perfect way to compliment the features of this picturesque lodge.

As the guests enjoyed cocktail hour with DJ Ben from Livin’ & Dancin’ DJ Services, the bride and groom joined Photographer, Darren Roberts and Videographer, Nic Collar as they hiked to get the perfect wedding portraits! During reception, the guests enjoyed a buffet and even late-night snacks including a S’more station outside by the fire pit!

With the help of Emerald Lake Lodge, Officiant Klaus Ohlhoff, Darren Roberts Photography, Nic Collar Film, Fleurish Flower Shop, The Pretty Haus, and Livin’ & Dancin’ DJ Services, this wedding was a night to remember! MountainShore Weddings & Events cannot wait to get back to Emerald Lake Lodge for another wedding celebration!
